Anne Curtis Smith has received many awards throughout her career. These include two FAMAS Awards she won in 2008 and 2009 and the Luna Award. In addition to that, Anne Curtis Smith was also nominated for five PMPC Star Awards. She was also nominated twice for Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis was a part of a range of TV shows, including Hiram, Kampanerang, (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013.) Mars Ravelos Dyesebel saw her portray the Komiks classic character Dyesebel. Her other roles include hosting the popular midday show It's Showtime from 2009-2020. Anne Curtis is a Filipina Australian actress, model and television host. The award-winning actress has won numerous awards in her professional career. These include two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. Moreover, she is also nominated for 2 Gawad Urian Awards as well as 8 PMPC Star Awards For Movies. Curtis has appeared in a variety of shows on television, such as Hiram (2004 from 2004 to 2005), Maging Sino Dyosa (2005), Green Rose (2011), Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003) and Kampanerang Kuba (2005). In the film of 2014, Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel she played Dyesebel who is a Komiks legendary character. The actress was also host of It's showtime, an afternoon variety show (2009-2020). Curtis is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina born in Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. Her father had been wed to Ojales by 1982. Jasmine her younger sister also performs as an actress. Clare was a cousin of their father's family. She died at just four months of age in 2007.
