Nathalie Nathalie 2 Masiela Masiela 2Nathalie Emmanuel, an English actress, is most well-known for her character Missandei from the HBO fantasy show Game of Thrones (2011-2015) and Ramsey on Furious 7 (2015). Nathalie was born in Southend-on-Sea located in Essex, England to parents from Saint Lucian, English and Dominican origin. Nathalie is able to attribute her determination to perform as an actress at the beginning due to her mother. She portrayed Young Nala at her role in the West End Production of The Lion King at the age of 10 years old. Sasha Valentine was her first television appearance in Hollyoaks The 1995 teen soap-opera. It premiered on TV in the year 2006. Emmanuel played the role from 2006 until 2010. Her role's plotlines were prostitution and heroin addiction. The fall of following year, she made her first appearance in the thriller Twenty8. Her next role was in the fantasy series Game of Thrones (2011, HBO) as Missandei Targaryen as Daenerys the translator. The year 2015 saw Emmanuel has been promoted to the role of a regular actor on the show. That same year, she portrayed Computer hacker Ramsey in the action film Furious 7 (2015) and Harriet in the sequel to sci-fi Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015). FHM magazine placed Emmanuel at 99th in its 100 Sexiest women of 2013 list. In April, 2015 she was featured in InStyle magazine and GQ.
