American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her acting career by playing supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and also played a minor role in the short-lived series The Ex List. She played Kaylee who was a young Moira on the first season FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead and Sophie on The NBC show This Is Us. She also voices characters from the animated comedy series of Family Guy. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10 when she and her mom moved to California. There, they went through a few different places before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to become interested in photography, acting and singing at the age of 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue an acting career.
